Writing Tool: Scroll Pen
May 30th, 2007 by Julia Temlyn
Check this out! For the times when you’re rummaging to find a pen and paper, here is the scroll pen.

The very cool part of this pen is that you don’t have to tear off the paper in order to write on it, but you can simply pull the barrel (bottom) away from the top and you then have a pen to write with and you can scroll back the paper into the cap to maintain a journal.
Well, I’m not so sure about the reality of keeping a journal with this, but it’s a neat little gadget. However, I’ll let you in on some practical alternatives if you can’t afford this and the eventual refills:
– PDA (I love my PDA and use it all the time for little notes and such!)
– Keep a small notebook in your purse (ladies) or back pocket (gentlemen)
In any case, this pen is a neat tool for writers on the go.

Great gift for the “writer who has everything!”
Wow, this is really neat. I want one, even if it is just for looks to place on my desk.
What a great idea! And the perfect idea for a writer!

Alas, I would just lose it.
It’s just a lovely pen! You know, I almost think I could almost justify giving myself this, on the grounds that it would almost certainly make me a more organized freelancer, and maybe even a better human being (what with being less frazzled from looking for scraps of paper in the bottom of my purse)… no?
